Carlos Pascual:
Srečko, My Neighbour

Making a return to the stage, Carlos Pascual has formed an ensemble with which – in the pre-Columbian tradition of conversing with the dead – he will engage in a dialogue with the poet Srečko Kosovel at the Tomaj cemetery. The event will feature Pascual’s Spanish translations of works by the great poet of the Slovenian Karst, offering both casual readers and connoisseurs of Kosovel’s poetry, as well as international audiences, a portrait of this prodigy.

Meta Fajdiga will perform works by Shostakovich, Prokofiev, Scriabin, Mompou and other composers; Neža Bojović, as a telephone operator from the early 20th century, will interweave stories through rap; while Ursula Vratuša will embody the spirit of the Karst landscape and the bora wind through contemporary dance and movement.
