Los Voluble: Flamenco is not a crime

The amazing deejaying twosome will lead us deep into the innermost recesses of flamenco. In their audio-visual show, a classical party morphs into a bizarre artistic expression, allowing access and hands-on experience exclusively at night-time. Inspired by the "free party is not a crime" movement, Los Voluble present a project in which flamenco and electronica intersect with critical culture and political video remix. Pedro and Benito Jiménez propose a direct approach to flamenco and its contradictions in connection with other musical genres, including gqom, footwork, experimental dub, grime or reggaeton.

Los Voluble have been producing eclectic dance sessions nourished by audio-visual experimentation for two decades. Their live dirty mixes blend archival material, global electronic music and live cinema to bring us closer to their reflection on the heterodoxy of flamenco, the Roma culture and party as political action.
