Slovenian cultural holiday at Cankarjev dom

This year's cultural holiday will be celebrated somewhat differently. While the world is fighting against an invisible enemy, Cankarjev dom remembers the great Slovenian poet France Prešeren by streaming two free online events. Join us on 8 February at 17.00 and 18.00 to help us, at least for a little while, replace the word Corona by another C word – Culture.

We are happy to welcome you again to our exhibitions. Until 9 May, the CD Gallery is hosting a legendary photographer, Henri Cartier-Bresson, showcasing his portraits of prominent twentieth-century figures. An exhibition of photos by Jošt Franko is on display in CD’s Small Gallery until 8 February. Both galleries can be accessed from Prešernova Street, tickets for the Cartier-Bresson exhibition are on sale in the reception area in front of the CD Gallery, while the Jošt Franko exhibition is free of charge.
