This dance and movement workshop offers insight into the artistic practice and working methods behind the performance Peekaboo. Bojana continues to explore staging strategies, uncovering different performative mechanisms for bringing intimate issues into the public sphere. The workshop begins by attuning the body through a range of movement events, emphasising the perception of the body as a whole. Participants then transition into a performative mode that fosters natural creativity, curiosity and playfulness. Together, we explore methods of improvisation and instantaneous composition, focusing on interconnectivity and our relationship to architecture – specifically, our own bodies, other bodies and the surrounding space.
The two-hour complimentary workshop is suitable for anyone with a solid foundation in dance.

Choreographer, dancer and performer Bojana Robinson works across dance, performance art and theatre. In 2005, she graduated from the Salzburg Experimental Academy of Dance (SEAD) and completed the Erasmus programme Dance as Integrated in Society and Humanity (SEAD and SNDO). Her recent original productions – Oh, how very ordinary (co-authored with Katja Legin), Mašina and Galebi odletijo zgodaj (co-authored with Gyula Cserepes) – have been presented at festivals including Mladi levi, Krušče, Desire Central Station Festival, Gibanica, Kondenz Festival, the Sarajevo Theatre Showcase, Tanz Platz Novi Sad, the Port of Dance Festival, the Vmesni prostori Festival – Kultivarnica and the Contemporary Dance Platform in Maribor. She regularly collaborates with choreographers Andreja Rauch Podrzavnik, Mateja Bučar and Snježana Premuš. As a choreographer and movement consultant, she has collaborated on more than thirty theatre productions for adults and children in Serbia and Slovenia, as well as on Vuk Ršumović’s feature film Ničije dete.
