The legendary Irish pianist Barry Douglas, winner of the prestigious competition named after Tchaikovsky himself, will perform the composer’s famous Piano Concerto No. 1. The evening begins with Symphonic Dances by the young and versatile Slovenian composer Leon Firšt. Under the refined direction of Chief Conductor Lio Kuokman, the concert will close with highlights from Tchaikovsky’s Swan Lake.
