A famous representative of the French piano school, Éric Le Sage, co-founder and Artistic Director of the "Musique a l'Empéri" international chamber music festival in Salon-de Provence, and Daishin Kashimoto, the first concertmaster of the Berlin Philharmonic and Music Director at the chamber music festival “Le Pont” in Japan, are jointly creating a unique sound world imbued with their signature virtuosity and impeccable musical dialogue. In 2021, their long-standing musical partnership, marked by deep artistic connection and unwavering devotion to chamber music, was crowned with the coveted Diapason d’Or de l'Année.

While the musicians also share a passion for exploring the little-known musical terrain, the evening’s programme pays homage to romanticism. To commemorate the centennial of his death, Gabriel Fauré – whose rich chamber music legacy is celebrated on Éric Le Sage’s five CDs released between 2011 and 2013 – is placed centre stage.
