Buster Keaton: Our Hospitality

Over the recent years, a silent film classic has been screened each December with live musical accompaniment and a newly written score – composer and pianist Andrej Goričar has thus again been commissioned to compose music for a silent film. This year, eight-member orchestra will accompany the classic film Our Hospitality, one of Buster Keaton’s greatest movies. Keaton, the silent comedy’s "second genius", gives a deadpan lead performance of a stoic, romantic everyman. With a satirical title, the film is a humorous take on clan rivalry and fraternal enmity before the American Civil War. As always, Buster Keaton finds himself in the eye of the storm, saving the day with a spectacular stunt display in his breathtaking signature style.
