The European Composer and Songwriter Alliance (ECSA) represents more than 30,000 professional composers and songwriters in 25 countries. With 100 member organisations across Europe and beyond, it speaks on behalf of creators of popular music, art and classical music, as well as film and audiovisual music.
ECSA’s core mission is to defend and promote the rights and interests of composers and songwriters, with the aim of improving their social and economic conditions and strengthening their artistic freedom.
Founded in 2006 in Vienna, ECSA was established to become the central European organisation representing all music authors, providing composers and songwriters with a unique and independent voice in Europe.
