Kjara’s Dance Project’s latest performance, “Human” again features talented young A-list dancers with deep stage experience in Slovenia and around the world. With distinctive fluid and bold movements, “Human” follows a group of modern nomads on a journey between the technological and the organic. A random ensemble fluctuating between individualism and tribal community finds itself in a transit area of the airport—a place on the global stage that is neither here nor there.
The dramatic moments of tension, real and surreal, occur in a postmodern setting that contaminates us and exposes our most fragile and intimate human conditions.
Kjara's Dance Project is a project-based dance company that brings together exceptional Slovenian, American and Italian contemporary and ballet dancers. For the last 8 year, their performances in the halls of Cankarjev Dom have attracted diverse audiences of dance enthusiasts, old and young alike, and have gained a steady following among people new to dance. Kjara’s movement is a mix of ballet styling and human mundanity, a style that attracts a broad and diverse range of dance enthusiasts.
