Artist-in-Residence of the Berliner Philharmoniker for the 2024/25 season and exclusive artist of the eminent Deutsche Grammophon, Seong-Jin Cho is one of the hottest artists on the planet playing over a hundred concerts a year. Cho came to worldwide prominence in 2015 when he won First Prize at the Warsaw International Chopin Competition, the first South Korean pianist to achieve this feat. He became the youngest-ever winner of Japan's Hamamatsu International Piano Competition (2009) and won third prizes at the International Tchaikovsky (2011) and Rubinstein (2014) Competitions.

An artist high in demand, Cho works with the world's greatest orchestras and regularly sells out recitals at the world's most prestigious concert halls. In Ljubljana, he will mark the tenth anniversary of his glittering career with a programme prominently featuring Chopin's solo piano works.
