Nathalie, a young, attractive woman is in love. She is devastated when her beloved husband suddenly dies. To cope with her loss, she buries herself in her work. One day, inexplicably, her zest for love is rekindled by a most unlikely character, her unremarkable office co-worker, Markus. At first taken aback by Nathalie's unexpected kiss, Markus comes to gradually believe in her feelings. As their relationship goes from delicate to genuinely loving, Nathalie and Markus will have to overcome a host of obstacles including people’s judgment. They decide to flee far from it all to fully experience their romantic feelings for each other.
