Brilliant, mature, cultivated and sensitive is how the press describes the style of Beatrice Rana (1993), one of the brightest stars in the galaxy of great pianists. Winner of the prestigious Montreal International Competition (2011), “2017 Young Artist of the Year” (Gramophone), “Best Female Artist 2018” (Classic BRIT), and an exclusive recording artist for Warner Classic, the natural-born soloist is also founder of the Classiche Forme (2017), a festival dedicated to presenting chamber music in a dynamic, young, and attractive way.
The pianist’s stylistically varied recitals are a reflection of her technical superiority, musical intelligence and refreshing professionalism. The evening’s programme reveals her special approach: Beatrice feels the links between the works as much instinctively as intellectually.

“Her touch is weighty: the notes come through with a full and rounded timbre. But with the weightiness of touch comes almost uncanny accuracy, so the melody in a passage of notes is clear as well as rich: there’s no question of the waters being muddied.” Bachtrack

“This may be the most subtle playing you ever heard but there are moments when it is the most powerfully commanding. The pianist is not just the gentlest nymph you ever encountered; she is also the most forceful goddess.” Jack Buckley
