Cultural Bazaar

Cultural Bazaar is the leading Slovenian annual event aimed at cultural education, organised by the Ministry of Culture, the Ministry of Education, Science and Sport, the Education Institute of the Republic of Slovenia and other partners. The key feature of the project is a full-day training intended for a broad range of professionals – primarily for professional educators from all Slovenian educational institutions and professional cultural workers, and recently also for professionals who creatively liaise with cultural institutions. Since 2009, when the Bazaar was initiated, the Executive Producer of Cultural Bazaar has been Cankarjev dom Ljubljana. Cankarjev dom acts as a venue for a diversified programme aimed at the general public – students, the young people, as well as culture and arts education enthusiasts.

The 12th Cultural Bazaar will feature a variegated programme of lectures, performances, presentations, workshops and other events. The professional training programme will be announced in January 2020 on www.kulturnibazar.si, where information on cultural and arts education is regularly updated.

Attendance at the Cultural Bazaar is admission free for all visitors.
