Litlink Literary Festival

With the participation of: Eva Markun, Vesna Lemaić, Andrej Tomažin, Jurij Hudolin and Goran Janković; German guests: Anke Stelling, Jonas Lüscher, Laura Freudenthaler, Jovana Reisinger, as well as Kristine Listau, Jörg Sundermeier and Jessica Beer; Croatian guests: Nada Topić and Darko Šeparovića.

Festival LitLink, which has been organised in Croatia over the past several years, constitutes an alternative model of literary festivals. In addition to general audiences, the readings are attended by representatives of distinguished publishing houses, each time from a different country, and of major languages. Thus, these events aim at actively promoting literary translations from minor to major languages. So far, LitLink has helped jump-start the international careers of some popular Croatian literary names. This year, the festival’s Slovenian edition will feature readings by Slovenian and German authors in Ljubljana.

The Slovenian part of the festival is curated and hosted by Muanis Sinanović.
