Launched 25 years ago at the initiative of the Government of the Republic of Slovenia during the International Year of Older Persons, the Festival of the Third Age remains the central platform for amplifying the voices of older people, building bridges between generations, and promoting an inclusive and caring society.
This high-profile festival is held annually in cooperation with over 3,000 individuals from a wide range of organisations and sectors. It features a rich cultural and artistic programme, educational content, expert discussions, and numerous activities at exhibition stands.
The 24th Festival of the Third Age is held under the honorary patronage of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Slovenia, Dr Robert Golob.
