MY KINGDOM FOR A HORSE

Kovač juxtaposes two antagonistic qualities of performance and movement which exhibit completely opposing needs and ambitions, yet are destined to cohabitate. On stage, face-to- face confrontation emerges between the international dance company EnKnapGroup and a group of experienced and unpredictable performers (mime artist Andrés Valdés, judge Vasko Polič, actress Marijana Brecelj, critic Neja Kos…). “The choreography of opposites” gives rise to tension and synergy between the ambitious and completely everyday forces, where the spectator becomes involved in the creation of the performance. Using technological instruments, he actively shapes the show and decides on the type of sensory perception and sound accompaniment.
